What are your thoughts on JK Rowlings revealed secret about Dumbledore being gay?

I think its sweet and pretty cool. However, I do NOT agree with the people that said it was all a media ploy to get people interested in the books again. I really believe JK takes the integrity and personalitites of her characters very seriously and isnt going to just make something up that she never thought of before to sell more books after the fact. Besides, the information doesnt really change anything about the books or the plot, or the fact that its ended. brI think it was a lilttle inside tidbit for the true hardcore HP fans like mebrI think its great that he is by the way. Not just because he was gay, but because he never had a relationship or partner or anything romantic through all the books, nor was it even hinted at, so to know that he had true love once, and was forced to kill him for the greater good, and then never loved again, well, thats just kind of sad and romantic and sweet all at the same time. I dont care what sexuality was involved, love that great is just.....epic
